How we work

We get to know your goals through:

1. A discovery call - business area, preferred tech stacks, scalability plans.
2. A technical discussion - specific needs, implementation timeline.

You meet with the Recruitment team

This is where your project kickstarts, from an HR interview and a tech
screening process to shortlisting the best candidates for the job.

In comes the Customer Success Specialist

We set up the kickoff meeting with our team leader, CS rep, and your team.
We go through every relevant part of the process from dev architecture to
security policies and preferred tools.

We align our timeline to your milestones

And so the work begins.

We work on deliverables.

We establish meetings whenever necessary and showcase reports to help
you keep track of the development progress.

We keep a tab of everything for you.

Any project-related aspect will be dealt with in the most professional manner,
fully transparently. Think of us as your in-house team rather than just a
collaborator.

The people behind the roles

Dragoș Rusu

Dragoș founded Bytex out of a sheer passion for quality. An accomplished senior frontend developer, he is highly analytical and detail oriented, and believes that there’s nothing you can’t achieve if you work hard enough.

Andra Codreanu

Andra is the Bytex COO. During her extensive formative experience as a SDET, she coordinated different projects of increasing size. Currently, her role is divided between operational aspects and a holistic growth approach. She believes in progress and the power of tech to drive us forward.

Dan Segall

Dan is the HR leader. Bytex represents the start of his professional career and he's gathered plenty of knowledge in his almost 3 years with the company. He's encountered many challenges so far and is very excited that new ones always come up. Although he's often late, he's an amateur watchmaker and also a board games enthusiast outside of work, meaning his challenge meter is always full.

Cristina Ilade

Cristina is the People Engagement Officer with over 8 years of experience in the corporate business environment and is specialized in building and maintaining relationships between the company and its people by helping to create an environment where everyone feels valued, supported and empowered.

Livia Rusu

Livia has extensive background experience in both B2B and B2C facing roles. She has worked both in agencies and in-house, and has handled accounts ranging from startup to enterprise. At Bytex, she oversees all marketing processes. In her free time, she is a debate coach to a very promising high school club (which she's been doing for years).

George Ilaș

George has a web & mobile development background, but his one true passion has always been empowering people to become autonomous and helping them reach their potential whenever possible. He is the Bytex DoE, and his work experience with diverse types of teams gave him a good understanding about the anatomy of growth and innovation.

Our history

October

Getting started

First team is created, started working with our first customer from the U.S., until the end of 2016 (when customer was acquired by VMware).

April

An opportunity arises!

Bytex was born and got progressively acquainted with the Californian startup ecosystem. Plans were made, timelines were prepared and we kick-started what became the story of Bytex.

February

Growing with strategic partners

Became official collaborators of Cisco, started a new project alongside VMware and paired up with several U.S. startups with inspiring projects. Moved to new offices, too!

Let's discuss processes

Growth needed steady organization. We started investing in non-tech roles as well, as a commitment towards our clients, and because we believe in holistic approaches. Became Cohesity partner. Moved to a new home, too!

December

Celebrating growth together

We're very serious about our future and we believe in the power to take things to the next level by sheer quality. We make it our commitment to recognize the merit of everyone in our team, and we decided to offer a stock option plan to our colleagues, as a form of visible recognition for their efforts!

April

Reddit partners

Growing stronger, we needed an image that matched our new level of maturity. We launched a new logo and a newer, fresher website and created a stronger employer branding strategy. Oh, and we partnered up with Reddit - how cool is that?

Despite the current global situation, we’re just as motivated and active. Our virtual doors remain open for you to meet us, as we step into a new chapter!

Growing internal teams with Toughspot, Nutanix, Re-starting the collaboration with Cohesity. Reached 100+ employees.
